Tami Roman's "Basketball Wives" Episode 6, Season 5 Video Blog - Tami Roman explains her shade to Tasha Marbury, Why Tami won't pop Shuanie and other things.

Tami explains her shade and comments about Tash Marbury's business. Entertaining and bitchy in a Tami Roman way. You can see why the show puts up with her drama.

Basketball Wives Season 5 Episode 6: Evelyn Lozada is still smarting about about headbutts and helmet jokes, Tami Roman tries to subminally sabotage Tasha Marbury's business, Suzie is pro game playe, they all leave Tash's party early

All these chicks are messy with the exception of Tash Marbury.

Evelyn and Chad Ochocino's situation.

Six episodes in and Evelyn is still crying in every scene and waving her new status of victim of domestic violence. We get it. VH1 is soooo very angry about cancelling 'Ev and Ocho' their spin off show about Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocinco and losing money that this is simply making up for that show. Evelyn Lozada must have other things going on in her life.

This is supposed to be a light entertainment show not a long lecture on how to avoiding offending and upsetting Evelyn Lozada or discussing headbutting at any given moment. Maybe Chad Ochoncinco should contact them for royalties but then again he's probably owes VH1 an advance on the never aired spin-off show.

Half this show was  just Evelyn Lozada investigating Tasha Marbury's 'helmet and head butting' jokes. Really? Evelyn whines that she never joked about Tash Marbury's chef situation. But Evelyn did put it on blast in her book and laughed when Suzie cracked the joke about the strap-on dildo and Tash wearing it to do the chef.

Tami and Evelyn are friends again

After Tami threatening to pop Evelyn at the dinner they are friends again. Okaaaay. Then Tami comes in a hypocrite calling Evelyn at her photo shoot saying she would have knocked out Tasha.  So ineffective Tami's solution to a comment about violence is to be violence. Am I lost here?

These chicks are just hood-rats. Really.

A Fan is Keeping it positive for VH1's critics

Just to keep it positive because VH1's bad reputation for having all this third  rate 'slap-pop-bust-a-bitch' reality shows with hoodrats they bring on a fan who got the message about breast cancer and it saved her life.

So they that is Shaunie O'Neal (who only likes postive things) Evelyn and Tami take time out of their bitchy messy ways to hear a fan thank they for saving her life.

It's a humbling experience which sets Evelyn Lozada off - that is crying again. Evelyn cries over this woman and telling us how she (Evelyn) realises she is lucky - Evelyn says “It just reminds me that my life’s not that bad…She just inspires me…to not let things affect me.”

However the fan's inspiring effect wore off Evelyn quickly because she was back to investigating the Tasha's head butting comments.

Evelyn Confronts Tash about 'Headbutting' Comments.

Does Evelyn has time or does she have time. Well she's signed a contract and therefore has to talk to Tasha Marbury on camera. A phone call just would not do.

Evelyn finally confronts Tasha Marbury about the head butting jokes. Okay. Tasha says she's sorry but challenges Evelyn about the chef incident. Evelyn doesn't think infidelity is as serious as being a victim of domestic violence. Funny that when it was Chad's alleged infidelity (the condom situation) that lead to the headbutting so I pretty much say she wrong because most times they are interlinked.

Domestic violence is usually linked to real or imagined infidelity or jealousy. One accuses the other of cheating (male or female) soon it gets physical.

Infidelity and cheating is can also be seen as emotional and psychological abuse. Just because a person doesn't have physical scars to show the world doesn't mean anything. How many women or even men self harm or do horrible things to themselves because their partners are cheating?

Let's settle this the easy way since Evelyn wrote about Tasha's story in her book as fiction maybe the solution is for Tasha Marbury to write her own book about a fictional Football Wife who gets headbutted in domestic violence then it will be even.  The problem is that Evelyn Lozada is so self obsessed with herself that she can't see beyond her own problems.

Tasha Marbury's Weave Bar Opening

Moving on the girls go to Tasha's weave bar openining.  It opens with Shaunie O'Neal casting shade on the location asking if is it safe. Okay let's take a step back, now Shaunie may have made her name posh but her goverment and birth name is really Va’Shaundya Karlette Nelson - which pretty much reads like a name made up in the projects.  These chicks forget where they came from. The only one who pretends to be from the hood and isn't is Lil Mo (from R&B Divas) whose really name is a boring standard Cynthia born to middle class church going parents.

We established that Evelyn can actually read which is good thing but then again a member of the camera crew could have pointed it out to her to bring it up because who seriously looks up at signs before they go into places. However being the normal messy woman she is instead of telling her friend Tash Marbury she uses it as gossip with the others then take Tami out to see.

So Evelyn laughs and leaves it but doesn't say anything. What a good friend.

Then Tami goes and slants Tasha's businesses. I think Tami is so off there is no point in even going on her. She is just nasty by nature.

Tasha Marbury's Birthday Party

Anyway Tasha is having a birthday party and Suzie who is a game player in this show goes to visit her while she is getting ready for the party.

They start talking then Tami rings and saying she is ill - her eyes are jacked up and it was probably something at Tasha's weave bar opening. I'm not going into what she said because it was vicdictive and seem like a  subminal plan to sabotage Tasha's business on national TV. Pure hating sabotage and let's leave it at that. There is no defense for it even if Tami comes out with her blogging which I post it's still vindictive and nasty.

Suzie Ketcham the professional game player asks innocently what it wrong. Tasha doesn't want to get into it but just says the women are opinianted. It's hard to beleive Suzie Ketcham didn't know what Tami was implying.

Suzie Ketcham doesn't her role in Basketball Wives twisted. She knows her role in this show and why she picks up the check at the end of the day.  Off the show she's a pleasant and nice woman. She is relaxed about the whole thing and doesn't take it seriously which is why she is hardly on twitter or any social media. In terms of publicity she only does what VH1 requires of her. Also she never sees the rest out of season. It's more lights, camera and action with Suzie so you can never be sure if what she is saying is real or just for the cameras. Sometimes she does get annoyed but mostly she's playing the game. Don't hate the players hate the game.

Anyway Suzie misunderstands when Tasha says they are all opiniated and thinks thinks Tash said they are pains in the asses. If I didn't know better I'd say Suzie Ketcham's arrival was planned with Tami calling Tash to accuse her.

Tasha corrects her saying she isn't scared to Tami and she is isn't scared of any of them.

Tasha Marbury's Party

Has there being any party where all these women were invited to that they enjoyed? Nope it's always shade be it the wrong food, people. drink, wrong music - they complain and whine all the time and Tash Murbary birthday do was no different.

At the party Shaunie says the party is a flop and Evelyn munching away is like she feels bad. Shaunie thinks should they stay but Evelyn decides they should go. Suzie comes in with the box of sex toys then tells the others that Tami isn't coming because she feels she's got some sort of posioning from Tasha's weave bar. And that's why I think it was planned for Suzie to be there for the phone call. It's just too neat and clean the way it falls into place.

Suzie tells the others what Tami said about Tasha needing to check the building blah blah blah. They all laugh and Evelyn Lozada comments that Tash needs to get her money back and out of the weave venture.

Shaunie screws her face up like she's having a difficult time straining herself on the toilet - but is her bored look -  and Evelyn says they have better things to do - yes that is pick up the VH1 check for doing that. They are getting paid so a lot of this is just messiness for drama. Evelyn complains about Tasha being late to her birthday party etc.

Game player Suzie suggest they leave the gifts and go. Their excuse was they were tired, early flights, maybe Marlon waiting for Shaunie in the hotel room wearing nothing but a leopard skin thong. I just added the last bit.

However it was okay for the VH1 filming camera crew to stay behind to film Tasha's reaction on screen. Tasha wasn't impressed because after all spending time and celebrating with her is more important because in the end she doesn't really need material things.

People ask after the Shaunie, Evelyn and co since Tash Marbury is a basketball wives they would have mutual friends and acquaintances in common . The cake comes out with a sparkling bit but no candles and Tasha sends it back. What's a birthday cake without candles?

Tami Roman's "Basketball Wives" Video Blog- Season 5, Episode 4 - Tami Roman addresses her concerns in the show

Tami Roman reviews her episode 4 and has her talkback. Tami talks about Shaunie, Evelyn and her love of tracksuits. She goes in deep so hear her out.

Thursday 19 September 2013

Basketballs Wives Season 5 episode 5: Jokes about headbutts & helmets and chefs roll on. Shaunie's 'it may go real right or real wrong' comment niggles Tami Roman. Evelyn turns shows her true nasty obnoxious nature by trying Tami - Tami wins. Evelyn doesn't like being the butt of helmet jokes and gets on her moral high horse and lectures about domestic violence.

How you have a whole show regarding comments of  heatbutting, chefs and 'it may go real right or real wrong' is beyond me. But you can and basketball Wives has proved it.

Evelyn and the headbutting situation rolls on.

Evelyn has another session with her daughter Shaniece, who seems fed up about the situation. It appears Evelyn is really trying to convince herself she doesn't want to go back to headbutter Chad Johnson Ochocino.

And it also appears Evelyn was disappointed that Headbutting Chad only replied with one text message rather than the 8 obsessive ones begging her back.  I think she's started to realise that maybe headbutter Chad has moved on. Or Chad Johnson was sleeping with some chick so he couldn't be bothered to add the extra 7 text messages.

Anyway Evelyn goes through the whole thing about loving him and learning more about relationships.  And after her long confessional she gives Chad the finger. I thinks Evelyn is still pissed he only replied with one thank you message on his birthday. He probably had some chick in bed.

Shaniue.

Shaunie is thinking big and becoming the next Tyler Perry. First start off small doing stage plays then taking them on the chitlin circuit before you know it she will a studio owner producing films.

Okay I'm done here. She is basically just promoting her new stage show and Marlon's acting talents. So Marlon has done a lot of short films (code for student director films) and commerials (just eye candy) but no real work. Hmmm... Boring.  Oh one for thing - she is also going to go into acting. What ever.

The Rehabitation of Tami Roman

Tami sees a life coach on Basketball Wives and VH1's money. This is the real problem with these chicks - Evelyn and Tami. If Tami Roman wanted to really change she'd be paying for her own private therapy off the show instead of waiting for VH1 to pick up the tab.

Tami Roman talks about getting angry, waving hands, people's speaking tone and popping bitches while saying she is trying to change. Apparently now it's everyone else's fault why Tami can't change. Tami Roman already is aware of her trigger points and what sets her off so she could easily ignore it but she chooses to respond to it.

Tami Roman blames Evelyn and Shaunie for bringing her 'bitch popping-thumping-whacking-whupping' past to the present moment and the it can go 'right-wrong-right-left' comment. Have you ever heard someone complain so much about changing and becoming postive before?

The bottom line is that 'Whacking-punching-hitting-thumping bitches' is Tami's defence mechanism. Wrong or right - that is Tami Roman's weaponry and armour in dealing with the world. People deal with situations differently and Tami is one that uses her fists. Tami grew up in a rough enviroment where that was what she needed to do to defend herself. Pop first and ask questions later.

So now Tami needs to be offered or taught an alternative way to defend herself when she feels attacked. It's no point telling her to ignore people and act all grown. Not. Going. To. Happen.

Everyone has a defence mechanism - some hide, some lie, some use humour, some walk away - but everyone has a way to deal with it. So now the inner subcousious Tami Roman needs to shown  a new way otherwise she will continue to deal with conflict this way.

Tami goes on blah blah blah not really promising to change and now she realises it's her past experience that makes her that why - but she already knew that because she said it was condescending tones and waving of hands.

Life coach Vasavi Kumar  tells Tami Roman common sense. She advises Tami to turn up and be her best self, manage her triggers (probably stay off the booze will be a start) and ignore other people's judgement of her. Right like that will ever happen. Easier said than done to ignore other people's negative opinion.

Anyway Tami signs off saying she is working on herself. Okay but then Tami gives her disclaimer. She is not mother Theresa. Okay we get it - she will still pop a bitch should the situation rise. Which doesn't really change anything because it's not like Tami goes randomly popping people. She only does it when provoked. No difference.

Shopping for Tasha Marbury's birthday present

This is why these chicks get into trouble. Suzie Ketcham, Evelyn Lozada and Shaunie go into a sex shop to get Tash Marbury a present but the thing is they don't know her like that. For some reason they forget to invite Tami Roman.

Suzie picks up a pair of panties with a big hole and starts with the chef jokes. They all laugh though Evelyn goes and does a disclaimer in the confessional disassociating herself from Suzie Ketcham's joke however she didn't exactly tell Suzie it wasn't funny. Then Shaunie suggests they get her a vibrator because Tasha comes over very uptight.

Evelyn Lozada goes one further saying Tasha Marbury is too perfect and needs to loosen up. Hmmm... The shop assistant tells Suzie Ketcham, Evelyn Lozada and Shaunie that they know Tash best - but they don't know her, do they? And that is the problem.

Saying that I've seen an interview with Suzie Ketcham and she is a nice laidback woman. She is also a game player and professional reality show caste member so she will be messy on camera if she thinks it's what show needs.  The show pays her a check and she delivers what is expected of her.

Suzie Ketcham is very clued up about her role in the show and does not get it twisted. She not there for women to relate to her story- she is there to do a job. Which is why she asked the question about the chef even though Tami Roman asked her not to and she will make these comments. She is a professional stirrer on camera and unlike Tami Roman Suzie knows her role on the show and plays it well.

Evelyn then goes on in the confessionals acting like an innocent girl taking about the toys.  My guess given that Evelyn moved with ballers and was a single mother at a young age - she knows a lot more about sex toys than even the sales assistant.

Tasha, the weaver bar and her 'headbutting' comment.

Tasha is stressed that the weave bar won't be finished on time. This is highly unlikely since most of the unfinished work were just comestic. I mean it's not like they needed to know down a wall or get planning permission from city hall.  It's just things that the work  men will have to work overtime.

Tash makes a 'head butting' commenting to her partner which is also repeats to Shaunie. Now Shaunie makes an interesting comment about 'What she is investing in' And I wonder if Shaunie is a silent investor in Tasha Marbury's weave bar.  She also picks up on Tasha's 'heatbutting' comment. Apparently it's okay to say kick, punch, slap and pop a person but it's not okay to say 'head butt' because who says that? I think it's just Evelyn's situation so everything someone says head butt we are thinking and assoicate it with Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson Ochocinco. So head butt is a dirty word on Basketball Wives.

Tami

Even with Lyric Tami uses aggressive words in a friendly tone- 'I will curse you' if you don't like it. Lyric is a sweet girl and used to her aggressive mother.  Tami thinks Lyric is like her. Hmmmm. I don't think so because Lyric's nature comes over as soft and sweet where as when Tami is being nice it looks like she is pretending. Good on Tami on raising such a lovely girl.

Addressing the Several Pink Elephants in the Room

Now you know when ever all these girls meet to break bread and resolve conflict it gets worse.

The Shaniue Comment.

Tasha didn't take offense at Shanuie's comment and didn't think it planted a negative seed however instead of stopping there Shaniue goes futher to say both Tasha and Tami are similar in personality. I don't see it. They both talk real slick and real quick. Hmmm... all I say is that Tasha has a dry sense of humour which may not be always understood.  And when she gets attacked or is defensive she tenses up and disconnects from the situation which can come over as if she is aloof or snobbish. That is her defensive mechanism. Tami Roman on other hand as we know - pops a bitch. There is a difference.

Evelyn's defends herself with her mouth and waves her hands but as well all know from pervious seasons she is not s fighter - Evelyn Lozada is more of a thrower. Let's face it - if the incident had been in a house or restaurant Evelyn would have reached for something and aimed a missile at Chad Ochocinco's head. Let's be real about this but in a car she couldn't defend herself.

Shaniue as executive producer of the show has never being put in a situation where she was attacked on the spot so we have never seen how she reacts but I'm sure Shaqulle O'Neal will have a few stories to tell.

I digress Shaunie goes on to say both Tami Roman and Tasha Marbury have smart mouths - whatever that is. Tash is surprised and disgrees. Then Tami goes in about re-living the past and negative seed then I notice Tami's hair flicking that Shaunie brought up with Evelyn. If Tami Roman does not agree with something or with what is being said she flicks her hair. Interesting.

The bickering starts off with Shaunie and Tami talking about the past tomfoolery and new changes - this is how Tami gets angry and ends up popping someone. She has being triggered off. It doesn't matter Tami is on best behaviour and wants to forget the past by Shaunie is saying Tami has to own up to being responsible for her past behavour. This conversation will roll and is a lose-lose situation because both Tami and Shaunie are right.

Tash concludes that no negative seed was planted or that she didn't take it that way.

Evelyn Lozada tries it and disrespect Tami with her hand.

Then Evelyn starts with the hand.  I'm not sure why Evelyn did it but Tami already angry is pushed futher. She tells Evelyn not to put her hand up. Evelyn does it again. Hmm... I think with all the Chad Drama and everyone being nice to her Evelyn has forgotten who Tami is. That is provocation in my book.

Tami is not having it. Shanuie tells Tami about the new her. I disgree. So it means that the new Tami Roman can be disrespected. It's what I said before. Tami takes that hand geature as an attack however she's being told her old behavour is unacceptable but Tami still needs a way to defend herself however she hasn't been give one. So what the life coach should be covering are tools which Tami can develop BECAUSE TURN THE OTHER CHEEK DOES NOT WORK WITH TAMI PERSONALITY.

So it's not condoning bad behavour but Tami stills needs to able to cope with situations in a acceptable manner. For example Tasha Marbury does it by looks and very measured speech. I personally would have looked at Evelyn then said I find that very disrespectful and walked out. My defence mechanism is to walk out or avoid confrontation.

Then Evelyn turns back into her true obnoxious and nasty Evelyn. Pre-media victim of Chad Evelyn. Evelyn's nasty self shows by testing Tami again. And Tami reacts.  I think they had security ther because Evelyn was crusing for a Tami brusing with her actions.

If the cameras wheren't there Tami would have pop Evelyn one. No disrespect but if Evelyn thought Chad was back Tami would have revealed another level. The gloves are off there. Well done Tami for not reacting. I'm proud that Tami swallowed it and sat down again. It could have ended badly.

Tasha and Evelyn talk about Headbutting and Chefs

Can't Tasha talk about headbutting without Evelyn taking offensive? With Tami we are reminded behind underneath all this exploiting Chad headbutting sympathy business to change her image and become a role model Evelyn Lozada can be still nasty and obnoxious.

Evelyn goes all victim saying that Tasha said about headbutting. Tasha Marbury levels the playing field. Tash is like you know me. It wasn't a comment about Evelyn and anything she has to say about Evelyn she will tell her.

Then Tasha Marbury reminds Evelyn about putting her personal business about Stephon and chef in her book. Evelyn didn't exactly tell her about it. Tami smirks and sniggers when Evelyn is put on the spot. Shaunie doesn't know where to look. Evelyn is speechless - there is a first time for everything. She is making money off Tasha's personal misery.

Anyway Tash says since it's all coming out she brings up the helmet situation. When Evelyn goes dating she should wear a helmet.  Evelyn not liking being the butt of the joke is offended that Suzie found it funny. However she did laugh when Suzie cracked the joke about the chef and the strap-on. The thing is if this didn't happened to Evelyn, Evelyn would have being the ringleader in making all the jokes and bitchy comments. It's just the joke is on her and it's not very nice for her.

Evelyn gets on her moral high victim horse about domestic violence and preaches it is a serious situation. That's it. Jokes are not funny if you are victim or the butt. Sexist, racist, religous jokes are most popular because they are forbidden so people laugh at it.  It's not funny that people watch and laugh about grown women bickering, quarrelling and popping each other.

Evelyn goes on about Suzie Ketcham's jaw and reconstructive surgery but Evelyn fails to understand the joke was about Evelyn wearing a helmet. Evelyn made jokes about Suzie's lisp so it doesn't  make it any different now because it was some man that dislocated Suzie Ketcham jaw.

Then true to form Evelyn Lozada goes all dramatic with her domestic violence head butting speech and starts to cry. Again. We are sorry about Chad and what Evelyn went through, we have insulted Chad but this isn't the 'Evelyn Lozada and Chad Ochocino Dealing with Life After Domestic Violence' Show.  It's getting tired and depressing.

Everyone looks sad and Evelyn looking very distressed decides to leave.  No one goes after her. Let's just say domestic violence is a serious matter but it doesn't stop poeple from exploiting it for financial gain and so they should because it is their story. It's her main story this season but it happened to her in real life so it's her business how she exploits the situation for maximum benefit.

So this display wasn't for Tasha, Shaunie, Tami or Suzie. It was for us the audience to make sure that Evelyn still had our sympathy vote a year later and five episodes into the new season because this is her main storyline unless something else develops further into the season.

The problem is that Evelyn had to be on her best behavour for at least this season though true obnoxious nasty Evelyn is fighting hard to surface.  Her normal Basketball Wives character - the one we are used in in basketball wives - showed up with Tami and the hand.

Evelyn is really trying to be something she is not with all this best behavour role model stuff so it will be interesting to see if she really serious about it. However Evelyn's behavour in taunting and provoking Tami proves Evelyn may be still have a very nasty and obnoxious side to her.

R&B Divas: LA Reunion part two: Michel'le reveals her abusive relationship with Dr Dre - 'Beats by Dre', Producers role's revealed in drama, too much shade and it just rolls on...

The second part of the reunion show with host Wendy Williams with still Kelly Price, Lil Mo, Chante Moore, Claudette Ortiz and  Michel'le just covered what we already knew (at least I'd mentioned it a few time in my blog) that all the divas had different contracts and discussions with their management.

It exposed that there were lots of behind the scenes deals and conflict machine but as Kelly Price said it was about making revenue dollars for the bottom line  for example telling Kelly that Chante won't film scenes with her then telling Chante Moore the same about Kelly Price.

The show turned out with all the bickering, animosity and bad blood just suited the producers fine.  It meant more people watching it and higher ratings. And the fact that Kelly Price and Dawn Robinson broke off to do their own show was probably the best ending the show's producers could have hoped for.

As we know Dawn Robinson wasn't there but as I still think she is one about the paper money.  Dawn Robinson is not a coward nor is she scared - she is game player about the money - however because of that she never gives things a chance and drops out if they are not going the way she wants them to. Otherwise how do you explain her being in on the new tour when the Lil Mo, Claudette Ortiz and Michel'le were not invited. Dawn Robinson is probably the least talented singer in the group yet she is going on tour. She will probably drop out half way due to 'contract' conflict.

Anyway I still I think Dawn Robinson was offered a bonus contract to she appeared with Kelly in her monologues.

The bottom line is what Lil Mo said. None of the women had songs playing on the radio and this as I've said it is the only reason why they will appear and tell their story.

The problem is that Kelly Price took it too seriously and so the on-scene drama spilled over into her personal life and relationships with Lil Mo and Chante Moore.

Michel'le said Dr Dre physically abusive and beat her so badly that she had to have a nose job.  It was so bad that in the five videos she recorded during that time Michel'le had to cover up three black eyes.  But Michel'le loved Dr Dre and thought  Dr Dre hit her because he loved her.  The funny thing was Michel'l said Suge Knight never raised his hand to her.

See I thought it was the opposite way around.  As Wendy Williams says it brings a new meaning to the head phones Beats By Dre. Anyway I have a pair of Sennhieser head phones which do the job fine.

I wonder what this revealation will do to Dr Dre's brand? Probably not much but there is going to be plenty of shade though. To find that Dr Dre allegedly knocked his ex girl friend about, gave her bad eyes and broke her nose isn't cool.  My respect has gone for Dr Dre - not that I had any before any way. I understand that it was in the past but that man is built like a power-house and Michel'le is tiny. Also it seems to happen a few times - apparently it was how Dr Dre showed his love. Really? I wonder how Dr Dre shows he hate.

Dr Dre had mad talent but yo! When the ex and baby mama say Dr Dre worse than Suge Knight who was really 'Knight in Shining Armour' compared to Dr Dre it's a sorry day. You cannot judge a book by it's cover.  Apparently Suge 'Hero of the Day' Knight made her see it was wrong for a man to lay hands/hit/beat on a woman. And the one time Suge Knight forgot it Michel'le said she was ready. So it never happened.

Let's just hope Dr Dre is a changed man now who doesn't think it right to use women as punching bag. Those Death Row days were horrible with the East Coast West Coast rivalry of Bad Boy Records and Death Row.

Chante Moore had her own nose drama which was broken by an abusive former ex-boyfriend.

Wendy Williams asked if was Kadeem Hardison or Kenny Lattimore.  Chante Moore answered no it was neither of them - but one who shall remain nameless - a bit like Suzie Ketcham jaw-bashing-and-dislocating ex-lover - it might be the same dude.

Chante rolled her eyes and said if Kenny Lattimore ever tried it she'd beat him to a pulp. No love lost there then. Apparently Kenny Lattimore had dropped the custody case  is now allegdly filing/suing for something else but Chante Moore didn't go into details about what. Maybe Kenny Lattimore should just cough up some child support payment and stop wasting money on lawyers.

There is a lot of dealings behind the scene which came to play when Kelly Price annonced there was going to be a tour with her, Brownstone, Faith Evans and Chante Moore - but the others hadn't being invited - I mean Lil Mo, Claudette Ortz or Michelle it was a tense moment. But worse off Dawn Robinson - who is probably a tour liability was going because Dawn Robinson as a reputation for quiting due to 'contracts disputes'. There is too much behind the scenes drama.

In the end Wendy Williams asks about a season two. Kelly Price isn't sure but I think she should do it otherwise they will need another messy baddie/villain. Also it's easy if the 'bad bitch' of the show is already established. So I think maybe she might ask for more money or something.

Chante Moore, Lil Mo, Claudette Ortiz and Michel'le are all in - because in the end it puts their name out there and people request for their music on radio. It also opens up new opportunities and in the end it's just a reality TV show - though some people take it too seriously. That was where Kelly Price went wrong or didn't realise in the end she could have reached out to Chante Moore and Lil Mo and Kelly Price could have said - "Chante & Lil Mo I'm just doing this to turn up the heat on the drama." But whatever.

Kelly Price should reconsider because in the end there is a check and it does give her exposure. It's reality TV and nothing is really real on reality TV. However if she does there will be many another thirsty has-been divas who will be telling their management to get Kelly Price's part.

All publicity is good publicity in the music industry.

Basketball Wives season 5 - Episode 4: It's all about Evelyn missing wife-headpuncher Chad and Tami seeking drama over what Shaunie said to Tasha Marbury. Suzie Ketcham says jaw surgery was to correct assault on her jaw used as punching bag by some unnamed ex of hers

This was show all about Evelyn 'Will-I-go-back-to-Chad' Lozada and Tami 'I'll-punch-you-in-the-face' Roman.  It's got to be the most boring Basketball Wives I've watched.  And it was so boring so I'll just cover some points and in no particular order. I hope it makes sense in some way?

UPDATE: NOTE: Tami confirms in her blog that her mother died at Tami's home surrounded by her family - that is Tami and her two daugthers who were with her when she died.

Evelyn continues to whines about Chad Johnson Ochocinco

Evelyn goes on and on about Chad Johnson Ochocinco till at some point I start to feel sorry for the man. This is too bad because I can't believe that I feel sorry for Chad Johnson Ochocinco. Never thought I would say this. POOR CHAD. Seriously, Poor Chad Johnson Ochocinco. I really do feel for him because it's like an nightmare that will never end. For him and for us. Evelyn too because she has that horrible gash on her forehead. No one wins except VH1 making money from advertisers.

Every week it's like Chad Johnson is standing trial the jury are the VH1 veiwership. He is a head-butter and wife beater - but can't we get a break from Chad's misdeeds?

Evelyn goes on about how her brother-in-law told Chad to take care of her then he died two days after - I'm not sure if that's the wedding or headbutting incident. Chad, Chad, Chad Johnson Ochocinco you messed up big time, boy.

You messed up and for the second time the entire TV viewing population is reminded of what messed up situation it is.   Dr Nixon is like people feel Chad will batter or head butt Evelyn again if she goes back to him.

Evelyn is like she and Chad so right for each other yada yada yady- listen up, Evelyn. I fell in love once and thought this guy was my whole world but he was a loser and is right now sucking sh$t in some ditch. Everything was perfect at least I thought so but it just didn't work out.

Evelyn goes to the lawyer to get the 'don't contact' order moved then starts saying she has a pre-nup and her own money blah blah blah.... she wasn't a gold digger blah blah blah.  I never thought Evelyn was a gold digger - I just thought she wanted to get married. A lot of girls/women dream of getting married or at least a fairy tale wedding to a handsome man.

I never once thought Evelyn had anything to gain financially - what she gained was respect. So it cleared up all those 'always-a-groupie-never-a-wife' insults. Even now some people will treat her differently because she was married. Sometimes in the world marriage means respectability for both men and women.

Suzie and Evelyn chat about broke jaws and head butting scars.

We find out the Suzie Ketcham was a victim of domestic abuse though she does not name the person. She tells Evelyn that the person dislocated her jaw which lead to two operations.  So her jaw surgery was not for cosmetic reasons but because man who shall remain nameless had punched Suzie in the head.  Nasty. Low life but there is no naming and shaming as in Chad's case or even Dawn Robinson of En Vogue.

Suzie Ketcham's wake up call was when she was in the Emergency Room (Hospital) with head injuries which lead to all sorts of complications including her lisp. Silly Evelyn is like 'oh and I used to make fun of your lisp.' Well at least  Evelyn knows the lisp was because bottomfeeder took his fists to Suzie Ketcham's jaw. Evelyn starts about her scar on her forehead.

Then outside Evelyn's scenes the others dicuss her. Suzie Ketcham thinks she shouldn't go back. Tasha Marbury says Evelyn is an adult and will do what she wants. To be fair all the women except Tami have a talk about ' Should Evelyn go to back Chad or shouldn't she?' At this point I don't care because it's boring to have this for 4 weeks in a row and secondly it's Evelyn Lozada's business and she can do what she wants.

Tami goes about how her changing to a postive person

I've being defending Tami in a lot of blogs and forum but this episode showed a hardness in Tami Roman. This is very sensitive issue so I'll be respectful.  I was surprised that the Spa date with her mother was on TV but I more shocked she decided to speak to her mother about going into the hospice on national TV.

Tami went on about how the massage room was quiet but there were the spa attendants and also the film crew. I felt so uncomfortable with the situation. The woman was dying. Then Tami brings up about her mother going in the hospice and her mother is no she is moving out because she doesn't want to be in a hospice.

And unfortunately I think Tami was ill-advised/ badly advised to bring that on the show.  The fact her late mother said she was renting a place for her final days. It's not even about that it's just the way Tami expresses herself at times. It's something Tami Roman can't take back because it's on camera.

Please note after this episode aired Tami confirmed and clarified in her blog that her mother died at Tami's home surrounded by her family - that is Tami and her two daughters who where with her mother when she died. Tami's mother did not go into a hospice.

Tami sees Suzie Ketcham for the low down on the  PETA event with Evelyn Lozada. Suzie doesn't say much other than it went well. Tami says she couldn't make it because of her mother. Suzie sympathise because her father died of cancer as well.

Tasha and Tami Saga of will it go right or will it go wrong

Tami is all dressed in green like a hoodrat leprechaun goes talking to Evelyn. She looked so ridiculous. Tami goes about saying how wants to be postive but she will punch Shaunie in the face if something happens. I've never seen Shaunie being physical so I'm not sure how to take this.

Tami Roman meets with Tash Marbury and give her the same old advice and Tami Roman Rules of Engagement. "Talk to me and not behind my back and we will be fine". This has never worked in the past and I doubt it will work in furture beause the show is based on each woman talking about each other behind their back - or at least discusing their problems. Can you imagine Evelyn saying what Tami said? There will be no show. Get a grip Tami Roman and stop acting a fool. You are way too told to be this stupid.

At what point will Tami Roman realise
  1. This advice has never worked because she always ending up hitting or punching someone out.
  2. The show is about bitching about other women behind their back. Face it that's all reality show women do - gossip about one another - what else is there to talk about?

Tasha meet with Shaunie to comfirms the Tami Roman Rules of Engagement.

Shaunie laughs them off. I mean what else is there to do? Tami has already started beef and making threats based on one simple conversation; she's warned off Tasha Marbury about talking about her behind her back and it sees at some point she is going to threat Evelyn.

Doesn't Tami Roman see she's being used by this show to create drama?

R & B Divas LA Season Episode 9 Reunion: What a hot mess and why these women need this to work

Wendy Williams was the host and she went straight in and asked very uncomfortable questions to the Divas.  Wendy got messy trying to ask questions outside the show which was slightly uncalled for. But that's Wendy Williams.  She asked what we all wanted to know but was it relevant? Not sure!

Double D cup Princess Dawn Robinson couldn't be bothered to turn up. Yet she took the pay check. Apparently she's quoted on twitter saying she has no time for bufoonery. Maybe she and Wendy Williams have past issues. It's disrespectful to the viewers and it leaves a sour taste. However Dawn Robinson is what we called a jumped and stuck up heifer who gives herself too many airs and graces.

Anyway I don't blame Dawn Robinson because she'd have been stripped to her inner hood rat and ghetto core - don't be fooled by all fakeness soft spoken voice and ladylike mannerisms - the fact she quarrelled with Lil Mo proves her level. Classy lady - my big African behind! WTF!

All those years of media training would have being ripped off so I guess she had to preserve her image - I mean think of the questions. Wanting to get pregnant at 47 with her problems? Her abusive relationships? The fact she quit two groups? Dawn Robinson was a victim made in Wendy Williams heaven. It would have been pure foolery on her part to attend. Ima just saying with my messy side eyes.

Wendy Williams tried to bring Mariah Carey into it with Kelly Price. I didn't see the relevance to the show. And yes, Mariah Carey is one of my favourite singers. There is something about the tone in her voice that touches me. This is not about talent, technique or skill - it's purely how she sounds. The same with Beyonce - it's the delivery of the song.

Regarding Kelly Price's shade about a 'certain singer'. All singers have gimicks - it's called technique and shortcuts - You a job for long enough you will find ways around it.  Also having a good sound engineer at a gig helps.

And as a Mariah Carey fan - I know she's mostly a recording artist and not too great doing live performances. It doesn't really come over because she always have great technical crews behind her but her singing techniques as the shade implied if it were for her is really for the studio.  Does that matter? No - not to me because I still like her voice. I still buy her records. Which is my money and what each Kelly Price, Chante Moore, Lil’ Mo and Claudette Ortiz and Michel’le want us to do in the long run - buy their music. Double D Cup Princess Dawn Robinson is probably looking for another band to quit - low blow - maybe but then again I watch Basketball Wives and Love and Hip Hop so give me a break.

The world is full of talented showcased singers - look at Chante Moore and Vanessa Williams. They are both amazing singers. If it was based on pure talent these women should be superstars of pre-drugs Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey or Beyonce level. Maybe Chante's time is now.

There is nothing much to say about it because it's just a rehash for the entire season and everyone is still bickering and disagreeing. Who knows what is true? I think Kelly Price, Chante Moore and Lil Mo are all telling the truth because each would have being separate things by the producers which would have lead to conflict.

As I thought, the monologue idea was not Kelly's but the production company. Now Kelly may have developed the storyline with production company before the others came on board but it still wasn't solely her idea. Also Chante Moore was invited because as a brand she could then lead on the storyline as well.

Lil Mo also revealed that the production company said they could have as much drama as they wanted but no violence. Kelly Price probably took that to mean turn it up. Lil Mo was also upset because she thought she had a 'real relationship' with Kelly Price and not just one for the show. So on that front Lil Mo felt betrayed by Kelly Price's behavour.

So what we learnt

  • Men are intimated by Michel'le's exs Dr Dre and Suge Knight - be we knew that already.
  • People want to know if Chante Moore ex-husband Kenny Lattimore is gay - but frankly it's no body's business but their own. And Chante Moore wisely told Wendy Williams to ask Kenny Lattimore himself
  • Kelly Price is a friend of Kenny Lattimore so that may have added tension to her relationship with Chante Moore
  • Dawn Robinson was a no show which was disappointing.
  • None of the men pay child support
Overall despite the drama all the women need the show to work to pay their bills. It's that simple and once it doesn't go out of control it's fine.  Chante Moore revealed her anxeity about Kelly Price was really to do with the show. She thought with Kelly Price constantly quiting it may lead to the show being cancelled before being aired.

You hear that about a lot of shows. So all the women were riding on it being successful - which is has been. And when I mean successful I mean in terms of rating and keeping people watching. Because through that they also get more exposure, publicity and hopefully make more money.

Claudette Ortiz was living in her car going from relative to relative before this opportunity came up. They put her up in house for the duration. Like her manager said Claudette Ortiz needs this to work so she can get a better quality of healthcare for her kids. Also since her ex isn't paying any child support Claudette Ortiz really does need this to work.

Chante Moore is appears to be the sole breadwinner with Kenny Lattimore saying because they earn the same he doesn't need to pay childsupport. And yes you can take someone to court but they still don't pay!

Lil Mo is owed 16 thousand dollars in child support so these women need this show to work. Michel'le who is cool says she is owed millions but it is what it is. I think once she is comfortable and has peace of mind it's okay.

They all know it's about getting the balance right between messiness, drama and conflict because they are competing with other reality shows such as Love & Hip Hop, BasketBall Wives etc.

Advertisers (how TV one makes it money and pays those checks) only have a limited budget to spend on commericals so they will choose the best highly rated shows.

So I think they will all probably sign up to a new season of R&B Divas LA as bills have to be paid. Does that mean Kelly Price too? It depends since she is now executive producing her own show called Too Fat to Be Famous - but a pay check is a pay check. And it's easy money if you think all Kelly Price needs to do is turn up and be herself.

Also does this affect her brand? I've gotten into a lot of debates about it. People are saying how they lost respect for her and won't buy her music.  It doesn't matter because she is still getting exposure.  As a singer no one needs to deal with her because all she is doing is singing.

Now would you be her friend? Maybe not. Would you go on the road with her if your contract wasn't tight? Maybe not. But singing is singing and she would have to do something real bad for her to lose any points on that. Even then she's a songwriter as well.
